a quick, expressive painting in thick acrylic done with a very large brush--movement evident in brushstrokes. a study of the high contrast created by the strong, cold white winter sunlight obscuring the details of the 'wall' a row of buildings in an old town square---though an abstracted approach, this is really what you see when you walk through this square into the sun and are forced to squint against the glare...try it sometime, it's fun.
