i just had fun with this one--working a bit from memory, sketches and photos--to capture the iconic shapes and images of Antibes--the Picasso Museum tower, the rampart walls, the boat harbor and local fishing boat, the views of the old town through the archways, tiled rooftops, the mountains beyond---all of it jumbled up and juxtaposed and highly colored. thickly layered and scrubbed acrylic paint, visible brushstrokes on heavy paper stock, matt finished.
